Bridget Wright joined the College of Dentistry in 2015 as a Dental Hygiene and EFDA Instructional Aide in the Division of Dental Hygiene. From 2015-2019, she worked with third- and fourth-year dental hygiene students in clinical and preclinical courses. She also served as the interim dental hygiene clinic director. She began a full-time faculty appointment in 2019 and is the course director for Oral Anatomy and EFDA pre-clinic and clinic courses. She is the recipient of the 2019 Student Government Association - Best Clinic Instructor award. Ms. Wright is President of Sigma Phi Alpha, Zeta Chapter, serves on the College of Dentistry Electronic Health Record Workgroup and the Dental Hygiene Admissions Committee.

Research Interests

Ms. Wright's research interests include exploring ergonomic postures of dental professionals and improvement strategies, knowledge, attitudes, and confidence levels in screening for sleep apnea among Ohio dental hygienists and dental hygiene students, and management of sensitivity after the performance of nonsurgical periodontal therapy.

Clinical Interests

Clinical interests include fostering a positive learning environment where dental, dental hygiene, and EFDA students can develop the skills required to function as a team in practices throughout Ohio and beyond.
